Providing solace for family farmers; 4 times a year.

After 10 years on the farm, 10 years in the city, 10 years working for a public accountant firm and 10 years working for myself as an accountant, I have started putting pen to paper, my thoughts on how family farmers can become more resilient, able to pass their farm onto the next generation.

Green hills and sheep

The city / country divide is getting wider. City families do their thing and stay in the city, only conscious of farmers during drought, fire or flood

New legislation is introduced to please families living in cities (eg electronic ear tags, renewable energy built on prime agriculture land, noise reduction laws, etc). It is a constant battle to make a living from farming, trying to leave the farm to the next generation and keeping up to trends in social media.

Each Family Farmer Magazine is 10 articles, best for a slow read. Every article focuses on a topic that affects family farmers, that may remind you of yester year or it may be a new idea. By reading 1 article each week, it will give you time to reflect and decide if you and your family can benefit from such thoughts.

No facts or figures, just ideas

Each article is a long read, about 2,000 words (3 ½ pages). They take time to read, all words, no graphs or tables, allowing you to interpret the article to your liking.

Professionally printed

The magazines are printed in Sydney by www.mixam.com.au , on good quality glossy paper to be read and re read to your leisure.

Practical Ideas

This magazine does not keep up with the latest trends. But instead, ideas developed over many years of both practical experiences combined with professional knowledge.

Family Farmer magazine provides solace to family farmers who want to know more.

With attention grabbing social media, advertisements with ‘buy me’ splashed all over them, lawyers & accountants charging big $’s for advice you do not fully understand, the world is hard to quantify.

If you struggle with confusion, I feel your pain.

With 40 years of working in various industries, my articles are original, relatable and thought provoking for your future endeavours.

So, buy this magazine, read it and consider.

If you are struggling with questions, purchasing ‘Family Farmer Magazine’ is the right decision. If nothing else, it will give you time to reflect.

By not purchasing this magazine, it gives you time to follow trends, scroll social media, visit the bright lights and talk to noisy people.

Purchasing this magazine gives you solace, time to reflect, ideas you may not have thought about, and a little inspiration for future years.
